We had a blast last Friday facilitating a jewellery design workshop with students from Hazel Glen College and Diamond Valley Learning Centre. The design brief was to create jewellery that would promote the natural environment of Melbourne’s north with students learning how to design in Adobe Illustrator and use the laser cutter. The workshop was led by our STEM Communication Officer, Vhairi, and in collaboration with the Melbourne Arboretum. The Melbourne Arboretum is a new local venture which aims to create a ‘park of trees’ for people to experience the flora and fauna of its special site.
